To further amplify Hardy's sponsorship of Channel 4’s cult classic reality TV show ‘Come Dine With Me’ we created a dinner party planner app. The app answered all a host needs from selecting a menu, following featured recipes, inviting guests, shopping lists linked to online retailers and of course wine pairing. Users were driven to download via Channel 4's website as well as multiple retailer campaigns. The results were impressive. The 2010 sponsorship reached an estimated 40 million consumers and saw Hardys take the lead as the UK’s number one wine brand growing at 12% per annum.
